Membership Lunch Meeting - Charitable Planning for Non-Parents: Ensuring a Meaningful Legacy

Members are encouraged to bring prospective member guests; first-time member-hosted guests may attend at no charge.
About the Program:
Recent research suggests that America’s nonparent population is growing and that this trend could trigger an uptick in charitable donations. But why? With this presentation, we will discuss social science findings regarding the special relationship between nonparent donors and charity and challenge conflicting assumptions commonly held by planners and donors alike. We will further address best practices for nonparent donor engagement, tax and planning solutions for common sticking points in nonparent planning, and ways to amplify and personalize a charitable legacy for a nonparent donor’s benefit.
